to my world

I write fantasy novels, poems, and the occasional short story. Currently, I have 6 novels published as well as two collections of poetry.

🎄🔔📖  Christmas will soon be upon us, and what better gift than a book?  📚🎁☃️

You can find me this upcoming season at 3 Holiday Markets in the Southern Muskoka Region of Ontario.  I will have copies of all 6 of my fantasy novels, plus both poetry collections.


On Sunday November 29, as well as Sunday December 6, I will attend the Rocky Marsh Holiday Market from 10-3:30, located at the Port McNicoll Community Centre (560 7th Avenue, Port McNicoll).


Saturday December 5 (right before I play  my first concert with my new [to me]  band, The Georgian Shores Concert Band, at the King's Wharf Theatre in Penetanguishene), you will find me at the Rawley Resort Christmas Market in Port Severn from 11-4. 


Come out and find some great ideas from local crafters and artisans.  Support Canadian ingenuity and creativity, and support indie artists!

Poetry

From snippets of silliness to the exploration of deeper truths and far-ranging thoughts in a variety of poetical forms, my first book of poetry spans 3 decades of work.
A collection of poetry divided into five sections. Inspired by the everyday, the ephemeral, and the ethereal.



Born and raised in Newmarket Ontario, I have had a love affair with reading and writing fantasy books since grade school. 


My favourite authors include: Terry Goodkind, Mercedes Lackey, Julie Czerneda, Gini Koch, Guy Gavriel Kay, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, and Noah Chinn.


I have an Honours Bachelor degree in English with a Minor in Classics, and enjoy ancient history, especially if it involves crawling around in ruins. I live in Ontario, play flute in a community band, and love travelling with my husband. Reading is my passion.
