I write fantasy novels, poems, and the occasional short story. Currently, I have 6 novels published as well as two collections of poetry.

Heading

Fiction Fest is a big online new-this-year book fair, focused completely on Canadian fiction. It combines a book showcase and author gallery of 121 authors from all across Canada with a roster of 36 live author readings and discussion panels that anyone with an Internet connection can attend — all for free! It’s the only event we are aware of that is free for the public to attend and which involves traditionally published, hybrid, and independent authors all working together in a virtual setting.

The event runs from June 21st to July 4th but registration is now open for our virtual sessions.

Poetry

From snippets of silliness to the exploration of deeper truths and far-ranging thoughts in a variety of poetical forms, my first book of poetry spans 3 decades of work.
A collection of poetry divided into five sections. Inspired by the everyday, the ephemeral, and the ethereal.



Born and raised in Newmarket Ontario, I have had a love affair with reading and writing fantasy books since grade school. 


My favourite authors include: Terry Goodkind, Mercedes Lackey, Julie Czerneda, Gini Koch, Guy Gavriel Kay, Robert Jordan, Brandon Sanderson, and Noah Chinn.


I have an Honours Bachelor degree in English with a Minor in Classics, and enjoy ancient history, especially if it involves crawling around in ruins. I live in Ontario, play flute in the Kitchener Musical Society Band, and love travelling with my husband. Reading is my passion.
